Couples Points

Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 November 2026

Couples Points is a mobile app for couples to log everyday tasks, earn points and spend them on rewards they choose together. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have. The app is run by Haris Petrasitis, who is responsible for your data. Contact: support@couplespoints.app.

What we collect

We don't use advertising, analytics or crash reporting tools, we don't track you across other apps, and we don't ask for your location, contacts or photos. The QR code is only displayed in the app; it doesn't use your camera.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with your partner, as described above, and with the providers that run the service:

We may also disclose data if the law requires it. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address, your name and an account identifier, and use them only to sign you in. We don't use Google user data for advertising, and we don't sell it or transfer it except as needed to run the app. Our use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app, under Settings. This removes your account and your personal records, and revokes your Apple sign-in where applicable. Some records remain in anonymous form so your partner's points and history stay correct, and we keep a minimal record that the deletion was completed. Data may also remain in routine backups for a limited time.

After you disconnect from a partner, each of you can keep a read-only copy of that shared Space until you remove it.

On your device

The app stores your session and a copy of your data on your phone, in encrypted storage, so it works offline. Signing out or deleting the app removes it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. You can edit your profile and delete your account in the app, or email support@couplespoints.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Couples Points is for people aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
